Mounting the Cooling Unit

1. Review installation guidelines in “How to Build a Cellar” presentation.

2. Covers: Do Not Cover the Intake Grill or Ventilation Fans
Examples of Cooling Units With Covered Intake Grill or Ventilation Fans:
Restricted airflow Backside airflow is restricted
Restricted intake airflow Incorrect installation

3. Improper Installation:
The WhisperKool unit is either not mounted high enough in the wine cellar, or the exhaust room does not provide the appropriate air flow and ventilation.

Examples of Cooling Units Installed Incorrectly:
Incorrect installation & not enough ventilation Installed too low in the room
Exhaust airflow is too restricted
